Core Program

Open Educational Resources (OER) Development

ACP maintains a library of free mobile applications available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. These include general literacy and numeracy apps tailored for Haitian Creole speakers, audiobook apps adapted from physical books created through the Mother Tongue Books initiative at the Matènwa Community Learning Center on La Gonâve Island, and the EDUQUAT series of Mathematics and French-language arts apps — originally developed in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank and Les Frères de l'Instruction Chrétienne in Port-au-Prince.

Project

Mother Tongue Book Apps

Developing digital storybooks in indigenous and local languages to support early literacy in communities where children learn best in their mother tongue. Adapted from physical books created through the Mother Tongue Books initiative at the Matènwa Community Learning Center on La Gonâve Island, Haiti, these apps offer multilingual support in Haitian Creole, French, and English — and work fully offline.

US Central Command (CENTCOM)
Government Work

US Central Command (CENTCOM)

ACP provides policy and planning support to the Department of Defense, US Central Command (USCENTCOM), in the areas of information sharing and dissemination via cloud-based platforms. ACP embeds an Unclassified Information Sharing (UIS) Liaison officer with national-level agencies in the Washington DC National Capital Region and advisors at USCENTCOM Headquarters in Tampa, FL. Recent work has focused on deploying new cloud-based information sharing systems for federal compliance, training partner governments, and supporting Gaza Strip relief operations.
