Putting technology in the hands of Title I teachers — and making sure they know how to use it.
About the Program
Appalachia is home to some of the most resilient communities in America — and some of the most underserved classrooms. Geography, funding gaps, and limited infrastructure have left many Title I schools without the technology tools that students in other regions take for granted.
ACP's Appalachia Advancement Aid (AAA) Micro-Grants program changes that. We provide classroom technology, open educational resources, and hands-on teacher training to K–8 schools in Title I districts across the Appalachian region.
We don't just drop off devices. We configure them, train the teachers, and follow up — because technology only works when people know how to use it.
What's Included
Tablets, Chromebooks, or other classroom devices to support digital learning.
Funds can be used for things like small-quantity gift cards, prizes, or individual class supplies that motivate and reward student engagement.
Anything teachers need to teach more effectively — from everyday classroom supplies to software the whole class can share.

The Process
Complete the short online application describing your classroom, your students, and your technology goals.
ACP reviews applications on a rolling basis. We prioritize schools with the greatest need and clearest plan.
Selected teachers receive grant notification and begin onboarding with the ACP education team.
We disperse the funds directly to the school. From there, the teacher and school are free to manage the project as they see fit.
At the close of the grant period, teachers submit a short Impact Letter letting us know how it went — what worked, what changed, and how students benefited.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If your school qualifies, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out to our team to start the process.
